I wasn't expecting a punk song, to be honest. A pleasant surprise. The lighter vocals could be a bit louder so as to be better understood. They're not exactly great singing, but that's the point and they certainly are funny. I definitely prefer the heavier parts, though, especially the part where it suddenly turns almost to metal. I think there could be more variety to them and the lyrics throughout to better illustrate the escalation of toasterfucking. As it is, it starts out pretty hardcore, with the charred dick in the second verse already, so by the end it gets repetitive. Basically, you could have done more of the really heavy grunts and stuff to spice things up because the sung lines are played more for comedy and, while they do sound funny cause of the intonation, it gets a bit grating. So I'd say do that kind of stuff more in the first half and then have the hard lyrics we get at basically the start going in the second half along with the heavier instrumental and trail off less towards the end of the lines to make it a bit more serious so that it's still a funny song, but it doesn't get annoying. Either that or find a way to escalate the humor with the lyrics (probably in a similar way, make them darker), perhaps leading to more of a collapse in the second half.
Keep it up, though, I'd really like to see more from you!

Yeah, I fixed the mixing and the version with louder vocals with higher quality sound will be on bandcamp and the CD in the future. And yeah, I feel like I coulda done more with lyrics, but I just didn't feel it with this song. This certainly isn't one of my favourites on the album. It's the only I have finished recording though.

Hey, maybe if I get all professional like abd record in a studio, maybe I can rerecord some of the bad songs on the album and make them better. I mean I'm way happier with the way this came out than I was with the demo, which is still up for comparison purposes--you are probably not going to like it much, neither did I.

Also mentioning my charred dick was part of the chorus not the verse lol.

Song structure goes, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, breakdown, chorus

I guess the chorus is repetetive though. But hey, this wasn't supposed to be one of the better songs. Still decent though in my own opinion. I'm gonna work on the next one real soon, like tonight soon, and it's also about my dick--all the songs on the album are, if I make any more albums after that there's gonna be way less dick themed songs--but this one's a little more gross than the other one. Just wait for it to be released, you might love it. It'll be heavier no doubt.

Wow, that was pretty cool! Interesting concept, mixing of sorta romanticized mythos and reality in the sound design. A little corny with the story and laughing/talking sound effects, but I think it works for this. Really like the bass part, and the way you incorporated the monitor beeping into its rhythm. I feel like some things could have been a bit more fluid, like you could have connected it better, so that not every specific sound whole had to phase out so much before the next one came in, it made things a lot more predictable. You had it in the latter half, but the first was pretty slow in that regard. The ambient whooshing could have been more pervasive throughout it. Also, the train sounds more like a plane, but whatever.
A cool concept that's not quite as well executed as it could have been, but that mostly nails the atmosphere.

But wait... if you're in it... that means... You suxks!

Hey, I finally got around to listening yo one of these! And... it was great! You weren't the only one who made an embarrassing mistake this episode, heh. I thought "People know me as Cethic" was "People know me for something" and so I was confused for a while, thinking Kelzad was switching accents. But enough about that.
Great guests, first of all. Great topics, too. You've sorta picked thematically similar ones. Both Madness and NSFW stuff can face stigma sometimes, and a lot of people don't know much about them. I think it's okay that you didn't know that much about Madness Combat, because it sorta demonstrated the thing where a ton of people are ignorant about it - "Oh it's just a stupid movie/game with lots of killing, didn't that end 10 years ago?". And the questions you asked were great, interesting and insight-providing, both for the Madness part and the NSFW part, boosted by the great personalities of the interviewees. Keep it up, guys, this was great and you've got me hooked!

GroundsPatrol responds:

Thanks TheRoboTrickster! Glad my ignorance was a boon haha

Now, I don't know much about music, but I'll try to sum up my experience with this because I feel indebted to it.
This is beautiful. Even when listened to without the movie, it's epic. I never noticed te details when watching the movie. This is an ode to Madness. It incorporates parts of multiple soundtracks, from Project Nexus and other Madness movies. So hype. It feels like it's saying "This has to end" with the more hard parts and the bits of traditional-sounding epic music. The clown music. Some creepier bits in there too, and the clown music really feels like it's intruding. It's very energetic and fills you with hype even if you don't watch Madness probably, but you're not supposed to ignore what it was made for because it is and always will be a tribute to the legacy of Madness and it fulfills the purpose it was made for perfectly. Doesn't get repetitive either, there's plenty of variety.
Cheshyre, you do not disappoint. Possibly the best track you've made for Madness.

cheshyre responds:

Thank you so much!

Awesome. Indeed upbeat, and kind of epic, honestly. If this were used in an actual video game, it would totally pump me up.

BossWilderOfficial responds:

Thank you man! I'm happy you like it.

The song is good although its a bit too repetitive

Abro15 responds:

Thank you for the comment. I'll keep your opinion in mind and try my best to do better next time)
